The Duduk is a unique Armenian instrument and its use dates back to antiquity.
Since the Middle Ages the Duduk has been carved from the trunk of the wild Armenian Apricot tree found in the highlands of Armenia. That tradition remains till now.
With its captivatingly haunting sound, the Duduk has been used in mainstream music by such artists as Peter Gabriel and Yanni, as well as in motion pictures such as The Crow and more recently Gladiator and Mel Gibson's The Passion of the Christ.
